Family Fun

Weekly Happenings: This past week yielded a spontaneous zoo trip which was so much fun. We also attended the Veterans’ Day assembly at Joseph’s school (I didn’t take any pictures because we were too far back to see him when he performed with his class) which was a really nice tribute to the men and women who have served our country. Other than that, it was a pretty average week.

The Weekly Weather: We had a good mix of cold days and warmer days. Pretty typical for early November around here.

What Paul’s Been Up To: He’s been rather busy with work and school. He also started building some baby gates to install on the stairs. They’ll look like swinging gates.

What Sarah’s Been Up To: Not too much out of the ordinary for me…mainly just keeping the kids happy and healthy.

What Joseph’s Been Up To: He’s got the beginnings of another loose tooth. 🙂 He has been spending a lot of his free time playing games with Paul and entertaining Abigail.

What Abigail’s Been Up To: She’s continuing to work on popping out new teeth. She’s getting rather good at “low-crawling” (hence Paul’s sudden desire to pop out those baby gates, haha). She’s also decided that teething wafers are the bees’ knees (it’s pretty funny to see her chewing them). 🙂

This Week in Pictures:

A man of many hats…
This is what happens when one skips one’s morning nap: a sleepy lunchtime.
He loves this Komodo dragon statue.
Roaring for the camera.
The hippo statue is another favorite.
“Flying” on the lion.
The momma lion is one of his favorites, too.
Reading to a friend while waiting to go to class one morning.
She is into everything at this point.
She was so fascinated by this toy hammer.
I love watching them play together!
I was surprised she could even pick this ball up. She seemed pretty proud of herself, though.
The boys were having an epic Pokémon battle while Abigail was checking out PBS.
Paul and Joseph working on the baby gates. Joseph was so jazzed that he could actually help Paul.
Tangled up in the pirate ship.
