Ushering in November

Weekly Happenings: This past week held the end of October and the beginning of November. It’s hard to believe that we’re already at this point of the year. We had a good time on Halloween (even if it did sprinkle on us while trick-or-treating). I took the kids around and Paul stayed home to hand out candy. Joseph had his class field trip to a pumpkin patch, and we squeezed in some fun family time as well.

The Weekly Weather: It’s been all over the place. We had some cool-ish days, followed by a couple of cold ones (Halloween included), followed by some warmer ones. It’s supposed to be more of the same this next week.

What Paul’s Been Up To: He’s been really busy with homework, work, etc. Luckily, he still is able to make time to hang out with the family as well.

What Sarah’s Been Up To: Mainly just my same routine of keeping the kids healthy and happy…with a little housework, cooking, etc. thrown in.

What Joseph’s Been Up To: He enjoyed Halloween (we ran into some friends while trick-or-treating, so that made it even more fun) and had a really great time at his field trip.

What Abigail’s Been Up To: She’s been her happy self as usual. I took a peek into her mouth and discovered that it looks like she’s going to be adding three more teeth in the near future (possibly all at about the same time).

This Week in Pictures:

All gussied-up for church last week.
Smiley baby…
Sleepy baby…
Busy baby…
Using the washcloth I use to wipe her mouth after meals as a lovey.
Letting his personality shine through.
Someone found her shadow.
Happy girl.
Since it was actually cold, I had to put tights, leggings, and a long-sleeved onesie under her costume to make sure she’s be warm enough to accompany us for trick-or-treating.
Joseph and Paul. Paul would lay like that and see if the kids (only the older ones, of course) would come up to him. Then he’s startle them, haha. With the little ones, he’d sit up, take off the mask, and give them the candy so they wouldn’t be too scared.
Joseph found a mini-me (our neighbors’ baby).
Posing with some of his favorite characters.
Painting pumpkins on his field trip.
With one of his best buds.
On the hay ride.
He had such a fun time.
Blowing raspberries at Momma (Paul put the gates up to help me keep my heels intact while doing stuff in the kitchen).
Taking advantage of the last week of still-light-after-dinner and swinging at the park.
She loves the swings.
Trying to get her toes.
He scored a new hat when we went to the local market day and wanted me to take his picture.

Bonus video: Joseph pushing Abigail on the swing…I love her laugh!
