Fun Fall Festivities

Weekly Happenings: This past week yielded a couple of fun things for Joseph. We went to the trunk-or-treat at his school and he got to participate in his school’s annual fun run (money per lap/flat rate donation fundraiser). I was glad for those things, because they helped to break up what might have otherwise been a pretty ordinary week. We’re looking forward to Halloween and the ushering in of the holiday season.

The Weekly Weather: It was all over this past week. We had cold mornings, warm afternoons, cold days…you name it, haha.

What Paul’s Been Up To: Not too much out of the ordinary for him: work, school…rinse and repeat.

What Sarah’s Been Up To: Not too much out of the ordinary for me, either. Keeping kids healthy and happy!

What Joseph’s Been Up To: As I mentioned before, he had a great time at the school trunk-or-treat. He also did really well at the fun run. Abigail and I came to cheer him on. He ran thirty laps, which equaled out to just shy of two miles!

What Abigail’s Been Up To: Not too much out of the ordinary for little miss this past week. She’s been her sweet self as usual.

This Week in Pictures:

[1]
All ready for the trunk-or-treat! This year, he’s Mario from Super Mario Brothers.
[2]
Abigail obviously isn’t going for any candy this year, but we figured we could still dress her up. This year, she’s Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The little doll she’s holding is a little Sally doll (it’s hard to tell since it’s upside own).
[3]
Getting candy from his teacher.
[4]
She really wanted Joseph’s shiny hula-hoop.
[5]
Getting ready to run!
[6]
Doing their warm-up walking lap.
[7]
Run, buddy!
[8]
He loves running with his friends.
[9]
They marked off how many laps the kids ran on the back of their shirts.
[10]
It’s blurry, but man, I love this little squish!
[11]
Our all-over-the-place weather.
[12]
These two sure hold a special place in my heart!

He said I needed to take their picture because they were “so cute”. I have to agree!
